A NEW BABY IS BORN D.O.R
After a year filled with groundbreaking online music releases, Diatonicfamily has yet again came up with an extraordinary idea named Diatonicfamily Online Radio abbreviated (D.O.R).
Hosted in the bedroom where their mini studio is located is a challenge but fun, reason being....... passion is engraved in their hearts.
The concept came as the guys felt much stuff that is played on South African radio stations is the similar and not appealing to them. So, to follow the trend was just not them.
This is how it all works: A guest is invited concerning the rare type of music they play. The guest is given an hour to deliver his best selection of music. The show is recorded both on audio and video then shared on Diatonicfamily's YouTube channel.
Blogs containing all guests' info are available on another website which is diatonicfamily.wordpress.com. For now be on the look out for their 5 track exclusive CD package. Peace!!

FAME MUSIC 2014 RUNNERS UP
The year 2014 was a year Diatonicfamily will never forget as they set a milestone to whoever competing with the entity. One day as they were going through their e-mails they saw a competition hosted by FAME Music, a website that hosts various competitions for music composers (mainly EDM) and djs.
Diatonicfamily felt they should take part not knowing that this would result in them occupying the second position in this global competition.
One thing that makes this so interesting is the fact that Diatonicfamily was the only Africans who participated in this competition that saw its winner Carlo Servodio from Italy flying to Dubai and performing at the GQ Club and living it up for a month.
As runners up, Diatonicfamily recieved an amount of cash and clothing gear (t-shirt and cap)
